I’ll agree that’s a bit peculiar, but it doesn’t strike me personally as anything else. Someone had words? My operator’s wife. There’s nothing unusual about that.

And then I saw them again an hour or two later at a kaffe at Louisiana having expresso? Why not? There are a lot of things in life that are more peculiar than that. They were talking about how no circumstance really stops a person from working or learning. Exile, disability, setbacks—none of it cuts you off if you decide you can still work that way. In a bike tour in Copenhagen there were other bikers. I was on the same route as they, and these other bikers, having been on this same bike tour before me, at about midday, were pedaling along the streets of Copenhagen which I found highly characteristic, I, the watcher who happened to be on the same route as they, on a bike tour in Copenhagen, one day, at about midday.

There was a lot of movement among the other bikers on the tour which was conveying us through Copenhagen, one day at about midday, me and the other bikers. The close approach of another vehicle which occurred resulted in a protest, which protest emanated from my operator’s wife who was a passenger on the bike tour in Copenhagen, one day at about midday.

There was an accusation formulated in a voice raised with urgency, because on the bike tour in Copenhagen a vehicle had drawn too near; there was also a sharp braking by the other bikers who had been passed earlier on this bike tour, a braking which they performed because they didn’t wish to collide any more on that route, one day at about midday.

Later that day I saw them again at dinner at Kadeau, the other bikers whom I had noticed on the bike tour in Copenhagen, the same day, at about midday. They were discussing with attention the idea that one should not go expecting perfection. One should not wait for ideal conditions before acting. Petty annoyances and minor obstacles should not stop the important work. Accept things as they are and make the best of the situation that actually exists. The other bikers—that’s the pair I saw on the bike tour in Copenhagen, one day, at about midday.
